There's another important viewpoint on picking business partners: you get to pick who you WANT to work with!
There's nothing that says you must or should work with anyone who comes along who wants to work with you.
In fact, the pickier you are about who you work with (ensuring they are responsible, ethical, good production record of their own, good purpose for making a business expand), the better you will do yourself!
